NPP/0044: General Port Equipment - Fire Fighting EquipmentWithin the scope of this package the New Port Project shall be purchasing the plant and equipment as detailed below on a supply & installation basis:
Heavy fire fighting vehicles (capacity: water of 6000 liters & foam of 500 liters and with centrifugal fire pump complete with ancillary equipment)
Medium fire fighting vehicles (capacity: water of 2000 liters & foam of 200 liters and with centrifugal fire pump complete with ancillary equipment)
Heavy emergency rescue vehicles (with storage lockers, cable winch, generator, hydraulic pump and crane complete with ancillary equipment)
Fire fighting water tank (capacity of 15,000 liters with centrifugal fire pump and electrical system)
Decontamination unit (water capacity of 1,500 liters with 20KVA power generator)
The driver’s cabin type and capacity for all fire fighting vehicles shall be as follows:
The fire fighting water tanker should fit for 1 driver and 3 crew with 2 fire fighting crew. In addition, no specific certificate is required but all should be in compliance with the specifications before acceptance by the purchaser. The required quantity of the fire fighting equipment:
